SETUP 设置

2 light or 1 heavy spring attached at highest position; pedals together.

CUES 口令

Starting position: Stand facing chair. Hands shoulder-width on pedals, knees straight or slightly bent. Breathing: Inhale to begin rolling spine down, hands on pedals; exhale to press pedals down, keeping thighs perpendicular to floor. Imagery: Body like a rolling hedgehog.

【Direct】Inhale to initiate spinal articulation downward, keeping the femurs vertical to the floor. Recruit deep abdominals to pull the navel toward the spine for core support. During the roll-up, maintain axial elongation with the crown reaching toward the ceiling to maximize spinal length. 【Indirect】Pearl Necklace: Imagine your spine as a string of pearls; during the descent, each pearl lands one by one on a soft mat, and during the ascent, they are lifted individually and lightly. Fluid Silk: The movement of the spine is like silk undulating in the wind, possessing an extremely flexible and continuous flow without any sharp hinges. Rising Balloon: Imagine your head as a helium-filled balloon, not only floating upward but also drawing space between each vertebra. 【Space】Reaching for a Distant Light: As you articulate down, imagine your fingers reaching for a light in the far distance, using a visual target to increase back curvature and extension. Filling a Giant Hemisphere: Feel your back filling a large, transparent hemisphere behind you, pressing each vertebra against its inner wall to ensure a full trajectory without compression. 【Feeling】Peeling Velcro (Tactile): During the roll-up, feel each vertebra leaving a virtual wall like peeling off Velcro, with a crisp, rhythmic feedback. Memory Foam Impression (Tactile): Imagine leaning against a memory foam wall; as the spine articulates, leave a clear, even impression of each vertebra on the foam. Heavy Syrup Damping (Kinesthetic): While pressing the pedal, feel the air become as viscous as heavy syrup, requiring a deep, uniform, and highly controlled force to 'push through' the resistance.

Lightly touch coccyx to guide toward ceiling; guide even flexion in thoracic spine; hand on abdominals to cue core engagement.

P- use strap for single-leg variation; P- perform in high kneeling.
