SETUP 设置

2 light springs (attached at middle or highest position); pedals together; shorter clients may use a small box (Moon box) on chair.

CUES 口令

Starting position: Sit on edge of chair, sit bones near front edge, back neutral. Balls of feet on pedal, heels together or parallel. Breathing: Inhale prepare; Exhale press pedals toward floor; Inhale control return, maintaining spinal elongation. Imagery: Feet moving like precise vertical pistons.

【Direct】Maintain precise vertical alignment of the ear canal, acromion, and greater trochanter, ensuring the trunk does not tilt forward or backward with pedal pressure. Focus on the femoral head rolling deep within the acetabulum; as you press the pedal, maintain spinal neutrality through the connection between the pubis and lower ribs. Keep the center of the second toe and the knee cap rising and falling within the same sagittal plane. 【Indirect】Stable Hydraulic Lift: Imagine your torso as a steady vertical lifting platform, with the base (sit bones) firmly anchored to the chair seat. Cockpit Simulation (Eccentric Control): Imagine the pedal as a sensitive speed controller; pressing down is a smooth acceleration, while releasing requires precise 'cadence braking.' Folding Carpentry Ruler: The body is like an unfolded folding ruler; the hip joint is the sole load-bearing pivot, with core power driving the opening and closing. 【Space】Vertical Elevator Shaft: Feel your back flush against a cool, vertical elevator shaft wall; during pedaling, the back of the head, thoracic spine, and sacrum must not leave the wall. Ceiling Upward Pressure: Imagine a delicate graduated cylinder full of water balanced on your head; as you press the pedal, use the counter-pressure to reach for the cylinder. Narrow Slot Gliding: Imagine your knees sliding up and down within two extremely narrow transparent glass slots; the trajectory must be perfectly vertical. 【Feeling】Silent Muting (Auditory): Listen quietly to the sound of the springs; try to let the pedal's ascent dissolve into your breathing rhythm, making the contact with the frame silent. Dense Amber Resistance (Kinesthetic): Feel the air becoming like warm, viscous amber liquid; both pressing and returning require a uniform, deep force to 'slice' through this damping. Foot Suction Cups (Tactile): Imagine the soles of your feet as two powerful suction cups firmly attached to the pedal; this grounded stability supports the upward expansion of your ribcage.

COMMON ERRORS 常见错误

Anterior or posterior pelvic tilt; heels lifting or pressing too hard; knees not tracking over second toes; body leaning forward or back; feet overly tense or limp.

骨盆前倾或后倾;脚跟前或后屈;膝盖没有对准第2根脚趾;身体往前或往后倾;脚过度紧张或无力。

PRECAUTIONS 注意事项

Not suitable for immediate post-hip replacement during non-weight bearing phase.

髋关节置换术后不久,不适合负重阶段。
